FAQ

Q: How do I know if I have Dry Eye?
A: Dry eye can cause quite a few symptoms, anything from the eyes actually feeling dry to the eyes watering often, or having a burning, itchy, or irritated feeling. One of the most common symptoms is the eyes feeling gritty or like something is in your eye. Most people will often experience blurred vision since the tears, which comprise the outermost surface of the eye, are unstable.

Q: What are some of the symptoms of Dry Eye?
A: There are numerous symptoms of dry eye disease, but the most common ones include excess tearing, lack of tearing, burning, redness, foreign body sensation, intermittently blurred vision, and an inability to tolerate contact lenses. If you have any of the above symptoms, and want a professional diagnosis, please make an appointment here.

Coronavirus Update — March 18, 2020

Our top priority is the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff. Therefore, based on the CDC’s recommendations, we are currently only seeing patients who have an eye emergency. Please contact us if you are having an eye emergency. Our office will still be open to answer any questions you have, to make appointments, and to order contact lenses. If we don’t pick up right away, please leave a voicemail and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We will have limited hours for curbside pick up for eyeglasses and contacts. Please call first before coming to check our hours and availability for that day.

We will continue to offer you the same level of service that we always have. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. We are constantly monitoring the situation and will resume all of our routine eye exam appointments as soon as it is safe to do so.

Thank you for your patience and ongoing support during this challenging time.
